According to Shriver 1997, the cultural knowledge and context in terms of beliefs, values and attitudes are mainly focusing on the meaning making by the people to the document (Shriver, 1997). So as a designer, the main thing to do is to focus and understand well about the cultural context before writing according to a particular topic and person. Besides that, a designer may not able to write and design a document without doing research and understand well about a certain aspects and matters of cultural.
As time goes by, the improvement of technology has been grow rapidly and this is the time where people could get Internet. Readers may slowly switch from reading books to accessing the internet by getting more information. Apart from that, weblog and vlog can be get through from internet. In nowadays, both text and visual is important where people could get clearer picture of what is the meaning of the message. According to Kress and van Leeuwen, a combine of text and visual is allowing busy people to have an eye on the message even though they are not able to read from text to text (Kress and van Leeuwen, 2006).
Last but not least, it is not easy to create and design a document where it usually consist an amount of time by communicating with the people to understand more about what they are thinking.
